The Pickleball Instructors below are well-known and highly respected within the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. They teach clinics, bootcamps and classes at VICTORIUM. Each Instructor also teaches private lessons and group lessons outside of VICTORIUM. If you are interested in private or group lessons, please contact them directly.

Nathan Tang
Nathan Tang is a PPR Certified Instructor and 5.0+ player. He completed his sophomore year and is home for the summer. Nathan is the Co-founder and President of the Pickleball Club at ASU. He competes with his competitive ASU team in the DUPR Collegiate series regionally and nationally. Nathan enjoys teaching all levels and all ages. Private one-on-one lessons $75/hour. For group lessons (2-3 players) $100/hour or $120/hr for four players. Please contact Nathan directly to schedule a lesson.

Cathy Colbert Turchan has been playing for over seven years and loves watching players elevate their game. Cathy has been actively competing for six years and has been teaching in Arizona and Park City, Utah for four years.

Terri Schaefers
Terri Schaefers has an extensive Racquet Sports background in Tennis, Racquetball and Pickleball as an instructor and tournament competitor. Terri has been playing and competing in Pickleball for 7 years and an instructor for 3 years. Terri is a PPR and IPTPA Certified Professional Instructor and a sponsored player for Gearbox Sports. She has been currently teaching for the City of Scottsdale, the J.W. Marriott and the Phoenix Country Club. Terri’s passion is sharing her love of pickleball and teaching players to improve their skills. She looks forward to seeing you on the courts!
